Antony Gormley was born in 1950 in London, England. Acclaimed for his sculptures, installations and public works of art that examine the relationship between the human body and space. His work taps into the sculptural potential since the 1960s by critically engaging with his own and other people’s bodies, confronting fundamental questions about humanity’s relationship to nature and the universe.
