Mao Xuhui was born in Chongqing, China in 1956. Mao Xuhui is a highly representative contemporary Chinese artist and a leading figure in the Southwest art community.

Mao Xuhui’s work has been exhibited in major cities in Europe and Asia, such as Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, San Francisco, Barcelona, Bonn, Paris and London.
